Picture a woman who views getting up every day to go to work as a chore. She knows what to expect when she gets there: people who don't treat her with respect. People who sexually harass her. And as much as she might try to prevent it, she has to get up the next day and live it all over again.

Some people don't have to imagine. It's their reality. Several women working in Largo, Florida, have had enough, and they're taking action. They filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, which in turn filed a federal class action lawsuit against the companies, alleging sexual harassment.

The lawsuit was filed against Four Amigos Travel Inc. and Top Dog Travel Inc., which apparently use telemarketers to sell vacation packages. Over 200 people work at their various locations. The EEOC reportedly attempted to reach a voluntary settlement with the companies, but that didn't happen.

According to the lawsuit, the companies allegedly hired male supervisors who acted inappropriately with female employees. The general manager, as well as several other male supervisors, allegedly made inappropriate sexual comments.

According to reports, the supervisors would use profane nicknames for the women and would ask them for sex. One allegedly showed a woman a picture of his genitals. In addition, some inappropriately touched themselves and the women.

According to patch.com, if the women's accusations ring true, the supervisors' actions likely violated the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Hopefully the lawsuit will serve as a reminder to all employers that all workers deserve to be treated with respect. No one should dread going to work because of the way they're treated.
