This isn't something you read every day: a male manager at Hustler empire is suing a female employee for sexual harassment. And that employee happens to be Larry Flynt's daughter.
The former manager, who used to head the business on the West Coast, sued the woman in Lost Angeles Superior Court recently. He says the woman, who reportedly works for the retail arm of the company, sexually harassed him and subjected him to a hostile work environment.
According to the lawsuit, the woman apparently made unwanted sexual advances toward the manager. This included sending him text messages late at night with phrases like, "I want you... now." She also allegedly touched him inappropriately and leered at him. According to reports, she also jokingly admitted to harassing him.
According to Reuters, the man claims that after he objected to the woman's advances, he was saddled with a hostile work environment. He also says no one at the company took his claims seriously. After he complained to Human Resources, they apparently told him their investigation was inconclusive.
The manager also apparently describes the Flynt family as thinking they are above the law. Time will tell if his claims will hold up in a civil court. It was not reported how much he is seeking in damages.
According to sources, Flynt started his empire with a lap dancing club in the 1970s, followed by the launch of his magazine. He has since included members of his family to assist with the business.
